The Chicago School Hosts Inaugural State of Mental Health Summit

State of Mental Health Summit

In May 2022, The Chicago School hosted its inaugural State of Mental Health Summit, with more than 125 participants joining both online and on our campuses in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and DC. For this summit, we brought together leaders from across the mental healthcare field to discuss the impact that access and education have on community wellness.

We’ve brought together experts in health care and education and workforce wellness to share best practices, as well as some solutions and some insights into what we can do to better understand the situation that we’re living in and to find ways that we can improve mental wellness for all.

In addition to a keynote presentation by Dr. Michele Nealon, The Summit featured four panels addressing inequities in access to health care, wellness in the workplace, and mental health in schools.
