The Chicago School Fund

The Chicago School Fund provides a year-round opportunity to provide students with institutional scholarships, support program innovation and faculty research, allow The Chicago School to underwrite student internships and practicums in the community, and more. Gifts to The Chicago School Fund are general in nature and applied where they are most needed to support the university’s mission.

The Chicago School Resilience Fund

Every year, some of our students face hardships—medical bills, job loss, or family emergency—that could put their education on hold. The Chicago School Resilience Fund was created so students don’t have to give up on their future because of circumstances beyond their control.

Since its launch, the fund has provided over $57,500 in emergency relief to 132 students, offering up to $500 per student to help them stay enrolled, focused, and on track to graduate.

IllinoisCOM

The Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine (IllinoisCOM) at The Chicago School was founded in 2023 with the mission to train exceptional physicians to leverage the interconnection of physical and mental health to provide compassionate, patient-centered care of the highest quality.

The IllinoisCOM Fund provides medical students with institutional scholarships, supports program innovation and faculty research, creates state-of-the-art educational lab spaces, and more. Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education (NRCI)

The Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute (NRCI) for Mental Health Education at The Chicago School is dedicated to educating and empowering communities through mental health training that reduces stigma and promotes awareness of mental health challenges and suicide prevention.

Through its annual community mental health conferences and ongoing education initiatives—including Mental Health First Aid, suicide prevention, and related training programs—NRCI has reached thousands of individuals and families. These programs provide practical guidance and resources, improve mental health literacy, and increase the confidence of youth and adults to recognize warning signs and support those experiencing mental health challenges. Your gift to NRCI will support the expansion of programs to more communities.

The Clinical Psychology Impact Fellowship awards five full-tuition fellowships to new, incoming Psy.D. Clinical Psychology students who are prepared to demonstrate their commitment to the advancement of clinical psychology.
